As the nights draw in and temperatures drop, it is tempting to shut oneself up at home and keep warm - don't! There are plenty of events and activities between now and Advent. Do come and join us - and don't worry, you son't have to commit to anything! and if you are visiting Vilnius or just here for a term of so, join in as much as you can.
November: Every Wednesday evening: Fellowship group meeting: 6.30 p.m. at the Pastor's flat (Vokiečių g. 20-8). This term we are looking at Luke's gospel. Sunday 11th November - Service of Remembrance at 9.30 a.m. This is an annual event at which we host representatives of the other faith communities and diplomats in Vilnius as we join together in remembering those who have died fighting to secure the freedom we enjoy today. Refreshments after the service will be provided by the British and Candian Embassies. Friday 15th November - Students and young professionals social @ Kris and Star's flat (J. Kairiūkščio g. 7-68) Meet at 6.30 p.m. All are welcome! Another social is planned for 14th December. Saturday 23rd November - Unfortunately we have had to cancel our Thanksgiving Dinner this year but we do hope to see you all at the Carol service on the 8th December after which we shall enjoy mulled wine, juice, and a variety of festive fare. Looking ahead: Advent starts on 1st December. Our fellowship group will continue on Wednesday evenings. In addition: Sunday 8th December: Carols by Candlelight at 4.00 p.m. Join us as as we celebrate the Christmas story with readings and carols - all are welcome! Wednesday 25th December: 9.30 a.m. Christmas morning worship
